Delivering Next-Gen Data Solutions at Mission Speed

Our Mission

Develop cutting-edge data solutions that protect our nation’s freedoms and expand our global intelligence capabilities.

  • Distinguish ourselves within the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense as industry leaders in Full Stack Development, Cloud Computing, Data Warehousing, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. We understand that achieving this vision is only possible by employing the industry’s strongest and brightest engineers, and why we’ve created a culture that delivers the type of company you’ve always dreamed of working for.

  • At Red Drum, we’re driven by a core belief: our employees come first. Founded by CEO James Rainey, our company was built on the principle of prioritizing the well-being and success of our team. While this idea is often echoed in our industry, it tends to be forgotten as companies expand. At Red Drum, we integrate employee impact into every decision we make, ensuring that our culture remains one where everyone can excel.

We’ve built a top-tier management team with a proven track record in fostering an employee-first environment. Unlike many, we are not solely motivated by profit margins. Instead, we focus on creating a culture of engagement and support, enabling each individual to perform at their best.

Attracting the brightest talent requires offering competitive pay and benefits. Yet, at Red Drum, we go beyond this by involving our team in some of the industry's most technically advanced and appealing programs. We are deeply committed to each employee’s personal career development and hold regular discussions to support their growth and aspirations.

Our unique management approach is evident to those who work with us. We invite you to connect with our team to truly grasp our values and operations. Our mission is to align Red Drum with mission-focused, data-driven programs that not only generate significant past performance but also open doors for future opportunities.

Red Drum is dedicated to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive community where every individual feels a sense of belonging and is recognized for their contributions. We celebrate the unique backgrounds of our employees and believe that our strength lies in cultivating a culture where everyone can connect, thrive, and grow together.

Our current opportunities are in the Fort Meade, MD area and require an active TS/SCI with polygraph. We specialize in hiring senior engineers with expertise to include software, cloud, systems, networking, and security.

At Red Drum, we solve the world’s most complex data challenges
